It started out as a good idea. Plant a few flowers along our front walkway...simple enough, right? Maybe make the house look a little nicer, pretty and summery. So, I went to Home Depot, bought flowers, and spent a couple of days over a weekend digging in the dirt and getting my flowers planted. Here are some pictures:
Not too long after, I started to notice some neighborhood visitors. (See below.) At first, it was just one. Oh, how cute! I thought. Then, it turned into three. Oh, a little rabbit family! I thought. Then it turned into "Free Rabbit Buffet at the Dickinson's house...help yourselves!" This is horrible, I thought!
And the results are...no more flowers :( Almost, at least. There are two types that the rabbits don't seem to enjoy. I'm going to wait a little longer, and if those survive I may plant some more, we'll see. Needless to say, the rabbit assault has taken the fun out of gardening! I'm an animal lover, and I have to say that's one of the first times I've wanted to hurt a furry little creature...

Oh - I would definitely be annoyed too. How are you doing with Dan away? Do you get to talk much?
Hey! I am doing really well, actually. I mean, it stinks, but I think I built it up to be a lot worse than it really is. Or the fact that I am at the beach w/ my parents right now helps :) I do get to talk to him every day, so that's a blessing! How much longer before baby McBee gets here????
Well according to my due date (July 19), I still have 4 weeks, but I'm convinced I'll go a little early. I'll probably be kicking myself on July 20th! We're just so excited to meet this little one.
